{lang: 'en-GB'}
Tweet

Part 1: ‘General Requirements’ and Part 2: ‘Procedures Guide’.

The public comment period closed 19/06/2020 and is currently going through the resolution process. The next stage being a ballot, anticipated to open in October 2020, with closure and resolution of any outstanding comment by December 2020.

The original Standard was published in 1997, this Draft reflects substantial revision and updating.

This is an important Standard for anyone responsible or involved in the security of people and property in healthcare facilities i.e. hospital, residential aged-care facility or other facility where healthcare (including related core services) is delivered to patients in Australia.

Leon Harris is a committee member for AS 4485 and is happy to discuss.
